Behind the Brush

Karen Lee was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. Karen grew up in a household full of girls and this enabled her to practice the art of beauty on her sisters. Inspiration came from her desire to make her sisters beautiful.

At a very young age, Karen experimented with colors, shadows, pigments, brushes, application techniques, and even airbrushing. Karen attended Make Up Designory in Burbank, where she went through extensive courses of beauty, makeup, high definition, glamour, runway, and character. Karen worked under a well-known makeup artist and acquired even more techniques to help her enhance a variety of features on different faces. Makeup was her passion and she turned something she loved into a career.

There is no job too small or too big for Karen; she enjoys creating smiles and confidence in every client.
